Jack’s story

Injuries are bad enough – but doubly annoying when they don’t heal as expected. Not only does the pain and discomfort last longer, so does time off work.

This is what happened to Jack, a support worker whose job required manual handling. After surgery, his fractured elbow stubbornly refused to heal.

Jack felt alone and frustrated – but, over four months’ sessions, MorganAsh provided the empathy and support that mainstream healthcare could not.

MorganAsh’s nurse listened to Jack and advised extra treatments and additional pain relief to both help him improve faster and to cope.

The nurse also helped Jack plan a safe return-to-work strategy with initial reduced hours, to help shorten his time off. His return to full-time work was supported by an ergonomic assessment.

Jack says that MorganAsh helped him enormously, not just emotionally but also by facilitating treatments which resulted in a stronger recovery and safer return to work.

The client’s name has been changed to maintain confidentiality.
