Later life lending – navigating the ‘care conundrum’

MorganAsh’s managing director, Andrew Gething, joined LV= to talk about finding care for family and loved ones in their later life.

Hosted by LV=, the webinar covered how advisers and financial services firms can identify solutions in finding care for clients as they navigate later life retirement challenges, and how they can support equity release clients amidst increased pressures faced by the health sector.

LV= equity release partnership development manager, Chris Smyth, was joined by Georgina Oxton, equity release divisional sales manager, to discuss the role socio-economic conditions play in the later life sector, and why now it is more important than ever to support customers facing later life retirement challenges.

They were joined by guest speaker, Andrew Gething, managing director at care specialist MorganAsh, who shared how its healthcare expert Care Navigator service can be used to help vulnerable clients navigate their way through the complexities of the adult social care system.

Care Navigator is one of a range of services which are designed to help firms support their vulnerable customers. When people are looking for care or a care home for a loved one, MorganAsh’s nurses can help find exactly the right care, through a complete understanding of that person’s specific requirements.

Amanda Ward, from LV=’s customer experience team joined the Q&A session to answer questions on how LV= supports customers post completion of their lifetime mortgage.
